Police seek public's help in hunt for missing kids

MONTREAL -- A 13-year old lad from Cote des Neiges returned home at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday after a citywide alert was issued for police early in the morning. He's safe and sound. Evan James Demers didn't return, sparking the missing person alarm and went for a bike ride Tuesday night. Police were combing the neighbourhood around Kent Park Wednesday morning, an area where he was known to hang out. Police were especially worried because Demers had no history of running or fighting his parents. Raquel Moncrieffe, 12, was last seen in the region and Morningside Avenue, on Tuesday afternoon. She is referred to as five feet six inches tall, with short dark hair. Police believe she's still in the Malvern neighbourhood.
